From student Reilly:
“What a great experience! We sent Grace, our green broke, 7 year old 17+ hand Dutch Warmblood to Erin to help develop her from a relatively untrained pasture horse to a dependable and solid trail horse. After 10 weeks of training, the results were nothing short of amazing. Gracie, well aware of her formidable size and strength and quick to use it to her advantage, became the most sweet, kind, and willing mare under Erin’s training. Erin was provided a punch-list of behavioral issues previously observed in Gracie and quickly and successfully addressed each one with patience, care and respect. Her frequent updates, pictures, and videos all reinforced that Gracie was not only learning, but enjoying her summer-camp on the ranch with Erin. When it was time to pick up Grace, the change was immediately obvious – calm both on the ground and under saddle, she has performed flawlessly ever since. Only a week after her return home, my trainer commented during a clinic that it looked like her and I had been riding together for 20 years. I look forward to my continued experiences with Gracie and will happily send or recommend any training candidate to Erin – she is as fearless as she is competent.” -Russ Banker of Ukiah

During a jump course a few years ago, I had a really bad fall off a horse. I got back on but I pretty bad PTSD and refused to ride. I was determined to get over my fear, and that is when Erin entered my life. Erin worked with me first on groundwork, then, challenged me with trails and arena riding. She knew just how to help me conquer my fear of horses to help me get comfortable with them. In the process, I fell in love with riding all over again. If it was not for her, I would still be watching horses from afar, being terrified of doing what I love most.

Erin is an experienced trainer with well-mannered, skilled school horses. My 9-year-old daughter loves Erin! She teaches confidence as well as riding technique both on the trail and in the arena. Erin is a joy to work with and has the professional knowledge to guide us through the many levels of equestrian training.

"I was looking for a trainer to start my 3 yo filly this last January and found Erin on Bay Area Equestrian Network. Right from the start I was very comfortable with Erin. She is always timely and communicates exactly what she does with my horse. She promptly gives updates on the lessons and sends pictures while she goes about her training sessions. Much appreciated! I also appreciate the fact that she listens to my input.
She has been doing such a great job with my filly that I had her tune up my 17 year old Morgan mare. Within just a few sessions she became noticeably more responsive and forward. She stopped being so fussy and opinionated, I enjoy taking her out so much more now! I also have Erin give my 9 year old niece lessons. Erin goes step by step with her and my niece really listens so the lessons have been going very easily. Best of all, my niece is having so much fun and can't wait for her next lesson. I would absolutely recommend Erin involving horses and especially children. She is super reliable and her communication is outstanding." Jennifer Gibson |
